The people growing this vision from the ground up.

Taneka Tucker

Founder/Co-Chief Operations Officer
& Grants Oversight

Taneka loved playing in the yard, making mud dishes, and helping her grandmother plant and harvest her garden as a child. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, full-spectrum doula, and caretaker, Taneka has devoted her life to helping others heal through compassionate care, wellness, and service. A proud mother of four daughters and grandmother of four, she carries the spirit of nurturing into every corner of her work and community. Taneka enjoys gardening, hiking, and creating spaces where people can learn, grow, and thrive together. Through Sewing Seeds With Healing Harvest, her mission is to help communities return to the basics by teaching the importance of growing your own food, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another through community harvest efforts. Her vision is simple but powerful: plant seeds, cultivate healing, and harvest hope for generations to come.

Anesia Jackson

Founder/Co-Chief Operations Officer
& Grants Oversight

Anesia’s love for plants began in childhood while playing outdoors, play cooking with flowers and plants, and exploring the healing power of nature. Descending from generations of gardeners and farmers, she has spent more than 20 years growing, harvesting, teaching, and incorporating plant medicine into everyday life and wellness practices.

Anesia is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Esthetician, full-spectrum Doula, and Reiki Master who integrates ancestral wisdom, herbs, and holistic care into her work and community service. Above all, she is a devoted mother of four who is passionate about helping others reconnect with the land, their lineage, and collective healing.

Her favorite SSHH quote:  “We are here to sew our communities together by sowing the seeds we need for a healing harvest!”
